Dr. Dorfman did his undergraduate studies at Eastern Michigan University and the University of Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Human Anatomy and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan Chiropractic College in Chesterfield, Missouri in 1978.

Dr. Dorfman constantly strives to improve and update his knowledge in the field of Chiropractic and related studies. He has always strengthened his understanding of diagnosis and treatment of spine and joint disorders by reading research and attending post graduate seminars on such subjects as Disability Impairment Ratings and the Study of Ergonomics and Injuries. His love of chiropractic and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know him well.

Dr. Dorfman has given lectures to local groups on low back pain and neck pain. He has been recognized as an expert witness by many of the area's leading attorneys in the area of motor vehicle accidents.

Dr. Dorfman and his family have been life long residents of the Detroit Metropolitan Area. They enjoy the beauty of the area, the culture, and all the recreational activities the region provides.
